Rum Explorer Guyana is produced in Guyana at the Demerara Distillers Ltd distillery. It is selected and bottled by the independent bottler Château du Breuil. With fruity aromatic notes brought by time in former Oloroso sherry casks, the Guyana is silky. COLOUR. Mahogany brown. NOSE. A very powerful aromatic profile characterised by esters and banana notes. Mineral and olive aromas appear later. PALATE. Powerful aromas of yellow banana are complemented by notes of red fruit, caramel and vanilla. The finish is rounded, with caramelised fruit and oxidative notes. Rum Explorer Guyana was distilled at the Demerara Distillers distillery and then transferred to Château du Breuil for ageing. The rum was aged on site for between two and five years in former Oloroso sherry casks. During this time it developed rich fruity flavours highlighted by aromatic spices. Tasting notes.
