The wine is pressed using the traditional Port method of "lagares" – foot treading. It has a deep ruby colour with purple hints. The aroma is pleasantly fruity, with the character of blackberries, cherries and sour cherries. On the palate it is elegant and delicate, with a trace of blueberries and blackberries and a light touch of wood. It has velvety tannins and a pleasant long finish.
