A wine with wonderful aromas – honeyed, buttery, vanilla notes, such a luxurious nose. A lovely expression with good aromatic intensity – you get that wonderful Sauternes aroma – it smells almost sweet, yet you know it is also fresh. Rounded and weighty with a generous mouthfeel, it is creamy – dense with white fruit, apricot and peach and a little lime zest. At the end you get a strong dose of vanilla and toast – a roasted, toasty quality that dominates at the moment but will settle and soften with time.
