White Champagne Wine Gosset Celebris Extra Brut Millesime 2007 0.750
In Latin phrase the phrase \\'Nec plus ultra\\' means “reaching a limit beyond which you can not, or should not, go beyond”. In common usage, however, it has turned into \\'Non plus ultra\\', which similarly means the “extreme limit, the maximum of perfection” of elegance and art that has been reached in the creation of a work, an artifact or of a product. And from this originated the original selection of this particular Friulano (once known as Tocai, lest we forget) whose existence is sufficient in itself to justify its excellence and importance: a 70-year-old vineyard on top of a hill located in one of the true “crus” of the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, Buttrio. Therefore, in addition to already being close to the limit, given the particular age of the vines, this unique wine is made from late-harvest grapes with some bunches left on the vine to become affected by Botrytis cinerea. Its color is golden yellow, antique gold, and expresses brilliance and captivating clarity. Another signature of this wine is its intense aroma and opulent, yet subtle and defined, fragrance, while always showing good minerality. The winery\\'s leitmotiv of extreme cleanliness and elegance finds itself fully expressed in this wine, as a sort of ideal connection to all the crus wines from Bastianich. Do not miss Plus with foie gras or shellfish. It also lends itself to endless of combinations ranging from white truffles
to dark chocolate
