Croix Mouton 2016 has an attractive, aromatic floral bouquet with crushed violet petals blending into notes of ripe black cherry and cassis. I appreciate the elegance on show here. The palate is medium-bodied, with juicy black fruit, well-judged acidity, a pleasant saline note and a touch of black olive that unfolds towards the fresh finish. This Bordeaux Supérieur from Jean-Philippe Janoueix can often punch above its weight, and 2016 is one of those years. Review by: Neal Marton - 88-90 points
