A very intense ruby-red wine with purple reflections. Solaia 2012 shows aromas of ripe red fruit, pleasantly fresh and lively, accompanied by balsamic sensations of liquorice and mint. The aromas of the wine are vanilla and smoke. The palate is elegant at first, then becomes dense with tannins. The finish and aftertaste of the wine are quite complex, with their expressive notes of black fruit and chocolate, together with excellent flavour and vitality.
