This wine, made from Pinot Noir, has a distinctive purple colour with black cherry. Its bouquet recalls peonies, violets and red fruit with a hint of liquorice. The attack on the palate is intense. Its firm tannins provide a well-structured body with a very fine texture. Its aromatic register allows it to be paired with braised veal and beef, and glazed or simply roasted poultry. On the cheese board, choose Brie de Meaux, Pont-l'Évêque, Cîteaux, Reblochon or Bleu de Bresse.
