Kalimna Bin 28 is a multi-region, multi-vineyard blend in which the Barossa Valley is always well represented. Aged 12 months in American oak. Bin 28 shows an intoxicating combination of aromas. First come black jelly beans, then a gentle spectral gradation towards red liquorice and redcurrant, together with wild raspberry and red fruit. The palate is well balanced, with swirling black fruit and aromas reminiscent of dried porcini consommé, well-balanced tannins and fine notes of tobacco leaf.
