This red Mercurey offers a beautiful ruby colour and a nose characterised by aromas of gentian and small red fruits accompanied by toasty notes. Its juiciness on the palate is particularly pleasant, together with silky, enveloping tannins. This is an elegant wine with fine fruit characteristics that will bring out the best in a charcuterie platter, chicken casserole with raspberry vinegar or roast poultry. A good choice for fillet steak, roast or braised beef or lamb, it will also complement pork ribs with sage and both soft and mature cheeses.
