Delord Armagnac Vintage 1978 comes from a harvest gathered more than four decades ago, carefully distilled and aged in oak barrels. This extended ageing highlights the interplay between fruit, spice and the slowly evolving influence of the wood. The nose opens with dates, toasted nuts and a light vanilla touch. On the palate it is full and velvety, revealing candied orange peel, gentle chocolate and warm oak spice. The finish is smooth and lasting, leaving a delicate sweetness and refined tannins.
