Bodegas Valoria is one of the oldest and most famous wineries with the La Rioja designation of origin, founded by the Perez Foncea family in Fuenmayor. The winery was initially oriented towards the local market and always strived for quality and image. It is one of the few companies in La Rioja that can sell the “old vintages” before 1980, which year after year receive recognition from experts such as Robert Parker, who awarded 92 points to Vina Valoria’s 1968 vintage in 2011.
