The Three Palms vineyard has produced a benchmark expression of New World Merlot, with complex, long-lasting structure, silky tannins and radiant fruit. On the nose, the wine has aromas of blueberry, plum, cherry, cinnamon and rose petals, which are highlighted by notes of cocoa and sweet French oak. As the wine develops in the glass, flavors of cardamom, cranberry, blueberry, and figs are revealed, as well as elements of earthy minerality that add drama to the long, complex finish.
