La Vite Lucente Toscana 2019

The 2019 vintage was characterized in the winter and spring by higher than normal rainfall which made it possible to accumulate water reserves in the ground, after the drought of the previous year. A humid spring, associated with high average temperatures ensured a homogeneous vegetative development for Sangiovese and Merlot. The additional rains during flowering slowed fruit set, naturally lowering the production load of the plants. The summer period was marked by a very regular climate, dry without excess temperatures, allowing a rapid veraison of the grapes. The temperature range between day and night in September coupled with the north wind, favored the ripening of the grapes with a magnificent aromatic evolution.
